About Oman Fawtara
A technical readiness assessment that turns one representative invoice into an evidence-backed readiness score for Oman e-invoicing.
Oman Fawtara helps Omani businesses understand how ready their invoicing is for the transition to electronic invoicing. It is a focused, engineering-grade assessment built on public technical frameworks — not a shortcut, and not a claim to be official.
What we do
You upload one representative invoice in PDF, XML (UBL/PINT-OM), JSON, CSV or XLSX. We extract and normalize the data, run a versioned, source-attributed rule set, and produce a 0–100 readiness score with rule-by-rule evidence, severity and remediation guidance.
A readiness assessment, not certification
Our result is a product-readiness indicator. It evaluates the technical shape of an invoice and your systems against the rule set we ship, so you can see exactly which technical requirements are met, which are missing, and what to fix. We never claim to certify, approve, or represent any tax authority.
How it works
A deterministic pipeline, end to end:
- Validate and hash your upload, detect its type by content, and store it privately.
- Extract and normalize data (structured parser, spreadsheet mapper, or PDF text/OCR).
- Run the versioned rule set and record evidence for every finding.
- Score from the versioned scoring profile and return your report.
Our principles
- Evidence over assertions — Every finding carries its observed value, expected condition, source and remediation.
- Privacy by design — Uploads are stored privately, never reused, and deletable on request.
- Source-attributed rules — Rules reference official sources by version and link; unverified rules are never scored.
- Separate consents — Assessment consent and marketing consent are tracked separately; marketing is never required.
